Established in 1978 in Bentham on the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire, Atkinson Vos has exported custom and specialist Unimogs to almost every country on Earth.

• 1978 - Company founded by Frank Atkinson & Jaap Vos as Africa Link Ltd. Initially selling trucks & machinery into West Africa.
• 1985 - 1st Unimog sale through a small advert in the Farmers Weekly.
• 1991 - Operations consolidated in High Bentham.
• 1998 - Adjacent land purchased for future expansion.
• 2000 - Unimog accessory range launched and constantly added to and refined ever since.
• 2001 - Simon Ward joined the business as salesman & workshop coordinator. Company Name changed to Atkinson Vos Ltd.
• 2002 - Current workshop & offices constructed.
• 2008 - Atkinson Vos became agents for Mitas tyres.
• 2009 - Succession plan devised to enable Simon to start the process of buying the business.
• 2010 - Jaap Vos retired.
• 2014 - Workshop extended to create more working space.
• 2015 - Dedicated dispatch area created and parts department expanded.

With a strong & dedicated team behind him Simon is taking the business forward into the next generation and building on the excellent reputation and strong supplier network built up over the preceding 3 decades.
